       Hello Mick,
               The modem will give you 10/8 improvement over
               the connect speed LESS CRC Block overhead.
               so with a 28.8k connect that would be
               36K less 2 or 3 k overhead.. Depending
               on Block size...512 blocks use more crc
               than 8k blocks...
                   
               So 3150 isnt too good..but not too bad..
