We have a lot of people very interested in bats at Leeds.

I'm not sure whether it would be possible to do neuroscience at Leeds,
though obviously the acoustic angle is well studied. What experience do you
have?

[moderator's addition: There's a good program in this subject at
my doctoral alma mater, the University of Texas, Austin. In particular,
it's worth checking out the Neuroscience Institute, and its chair,
George Pollak. Try: http://www.utexas.edu/neuroscience/index.html.
Best of luck. - JAH]
