As for archiving and offline it would be nice to see Fido Linuxed up or at
least that is what I'd like to see.  Working on some ideas here.  I've done
some preliminary work using bash scripting but foound it was best to filter
out the DOS-think first before doing any manipulation and then converting
the result to whatever format for archiving or offline.  Perl works best
for reformatting methinks.  I was just about to start on a shell wrapper
but am going to convert to raw pkt's before worrying about anything else. 
One thing for sure, all of the regular or typical Fido formats are to
DOS-thinkish for my liking.  I think there is room for vast improvement
there.
