Is there any way to get it to scroll faster, (1/4 to 1/2 a page > would be about right)? Have you considered "Amouse" for a driver? Your logitech is now supported. You can set scroll speed from 1 to 10 lines and use "ctrl + wheel" to scroll pages. It's nifty that "alt + wheel" also adjusts audio volume.
