subject: Those Files...

Hello Paul!

On 16 Jun 94, you said to Geoff Armstrong:

GA>> rang the BBS with a term prog and uploaded them. Is there an
GA>> easier to do this using my point setup for future reference?

PE> Yeah. Are you using Frontdoor?

Yup. FD / FMail / Golded.

PE> One of the items in the menu is "send
PE> files".

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that, now you mention it. I tried this, then
abandoned it when I thought it wouldn't work, but then I saw FD trying to
dial Bauderline after I sent them by hand.

1) Made a file attach "crash" netmail message to that BBS.
2) When FD ran, it tried to send it, but I don't know what it tried to
send. I thought netmail got bundled up in the .PKT with the rest of the
mail. Does FD (or all mailers for that matter) not put netmail into the
normal echomail .PKT, but send it individually? I'm a bit vague on netmail.

PE> If you're using Binkley, then you might be able to do it with
PE> an Alt-S, but it's probably better to use Squish to do it, with a
PE> "squish send xxx 711/934". BFN.

I'm not using squish. But I have it now, might have a look at it. Nah. If
it's not fucked, don't fix it is my motto.

Sea Ewes are round!
Geoff.
