Here's an exact shell line from my setup:

mutil mailout.ini|fidopoll forced|mutil mailin.ini

I didn't even consider the ./. I'll try changing that and see if it helps.

Unfortunately, this is in a cloud VM, so running non-daemon would be pretty
challenging.
