Yesterday I was with a group of old engineering types and the subject of
prostate tests came up. One person has a significant prostate problem, and
he has been worrying the male members of our group (so to speak).

To appreciate the wondrous nature of his joke that I am about to repeat, I
have to point out that some old electrical engineering people have never
really adjusted to the modern digital world. They still hanker after their
analog technology, and fondly remember valve amplifiers etc.

Anyway, the person with the prostate problem singled-out one of the
old-timers and announced:

"I suppose you wouldn't want a digital rectal examination. You would
prefer an analog rectal examination!"
