I bought my Rossi's in 1994. Rossi was chosen handgun of the year (don't
know by whom) I believe in 1994. I remember seeing the signs at the Rossi
display at the gun shop. I had a friend that bought a model 68 a couple
years earlier. He has broken two firing pins in it. I have had no problems
with the two I have. My wife's has only had about 800 rounds through it and
mine has had several thousand through it. The only difference between mine
and hers is mine show some holster wear.
CF> .357 snub nose. When the "budget" allows I will start looking for one.

Yeah

For the average person it probably would'nt matter the size of the hole
pointing at them. They probably all look like 12 gage barrels.
CF> I have a Taurus model 689 with a 4" barrel but it is too big and heavy
PN> Taurus has been mentioned universally as a contender, in the realm of
 PN> "budget" revolvers.
I bought the Taurus because it was the only one that fit my hand like a
love.
I had some tax refund money when I was looking for a .357 so budget didn't
play too big a part in my selection. The $300 price tag left me extra money
to buy more bullets and powder. Overall I am very pleased with the Rossi
and the Taurus revolvers.

CF> ... If you're not confused yet, let me know and I'll start over.
 PN>
 Well its like this .....

... If you don't care where you are, you're not lost
