BL> Bloody hell! Mine is nothing like that.
Thats why yours doesnt work dummy.
BL> You're taken out the -T in qwk2pkt. I used -Ttenmin.tbl in both!
Paul at one time suggested that he didnt bother to even try the new code
which allowed the use of JUST the TENMIN.TBL and not the CONTROL.DAT and
suggested it might not work. So I just stuck with the use of both, as a
minimum risk approach to getting the right timestamp on the messages.
Not my idea of bulletproof code development to just change the code and
pray.
BL> The way you've got it set, you are still using control.dat for qwk2pkt.
Yep. Its definitely better to use just TENMIN.TBL, its always a risk
requiring changes to both TENMIN.TBL and CONTROL.DAT when you add areas.
Bound to bite you sometime. Corse its a non fatal bite tho, fails safe.
BL> Paul set it up to do away with control.dat and use tenmin.tbl instead.
Yeah, I realised that and consciously chose to take the minimum risk
route for now.
Your mail is worthless anyway, and gets trashed anyway however you do
those command line switches so its no biggy in your case.
