I met a beautiful, nice Russian girl once.  She was working for an American
contracting company that was doing some work with my agency.  Unfortunately,
two events took place that kept me from getting to know her very well.  One
was that the company and higher-ups in my agency could not come to terms
about something, so they left.  The other was that the Feds figured out
that she'd accidentally applied for (and received) two visas, which is
apparently illegal (she'd applied for one, and her company had applied
for one for her).  She got deported.  :-(

I was really looking forward to getting to know her.  She was very
friendly and good-humored.
