Hi Keith,
KSÃ I have picked up a contract working with Access version 1 (but they
Ãdo have vague hopes of moving to version 2!) and am struggling a bit with
If they have any hopes of having a good final product they certainly
should, and before your start. I'm afraid I would not have taken that
contract unless my family was starving :-)
I did some development in Access 1 and was disappointed in performance,
utility, and speed. Although I am a registered user of V7 now I still
develop products for my customer in V2. His machines are to old and
slow for Win95/NT.

If you insist on pain here are a couple of titles and the respective
ISBN:
1-56205-194-6 INSIDE ACCESS 1.1 SPECIAL ED.
1-56529-323-6 USING ACCESS 1.1 FOR WINDOWS, SPEC
0-67979-158-2 MICROSOFT ACCESS 101 HANDBOOK
0-67230-178-4 ACCESS 1.1 DEVELOPERS GUIDE
Don't know anything about them, I pulled the data from a local
bookstores database.
BTW, I found the original Microsoft manuals to be better than some of
the commercial ones that I bought for V2. If I remember correctly V1
books were so-so.
There are a LOT of helpful experts on the UseNet NewsGroups for
Access. Give them a try...
