It's my great new standard, which so far unfortunately has not been widely
adopted.  Some people use 711_934, some use 711934, some use f711_934.  I
use f711x934 which is a filename that can be stored in every operating
system I have come across.  E.g. members of an MVS PDS must start with a
letter or one of 3 special characters.

However, the word "FILES" is standard.  If you FREQ
"FILES" and then assume whatever came back is a files list, you
will be on the right track.  BFN.
