I tried a zillion times to learn to program on my own..  I read magazine
tutorials, even have texts and manuals, but to no avail.

I am now into my 2nd year of part time study in an Ass. Dip. IT. and have
found that not only am I enjoying programing, but I even understand why
things work. Something I had alot of trouble with just reading and looking
at tutes and examples.

There are alot of self taught programmers, but if you have the time, try
finding a course, and learn from an educator (PC term :) ) and a group of
other learners.

Just my thoughts.
