Hello Julia!
Okay!  I am caught up now!!  I got your house block done yesterday
in between bouts of feeding the baby as well as Sylvia's Star Block.
Both are going in the mail today.  Hope you like your block.  I did
the one that they did on Simply Quilts a few weeks ago.  It is a pieced
reproduction of an appliqued two-story house that is on a quilt at
the Shelbourne Museum.  Carolyn Reese designed it.  The measurements
that they gave on the show weren't accurate, but I figured it out!
Baby?!  No, don't get all excited now.  I volunteered to babysit for
some friends yesterday while they went out for dinner and a movie.  Their
oldest is about 4 and the baby is 2 months.  Austin, the 4-yo, played
with my son and had a great time, Meagan, the 2-month old, was a very
sweet and loveable little girl whom I got to spoil and then hand back
to her parents!
