On (09 Aug 96) John Dailey Rambled On To All...
JD> A while back I purchased a single Tin Foil Barb for my tank :)
JD> At the time, it was a tiny (1"-1.5" long), shiny, great-lookin' fish.
JD> Although now, it's about 3 inches in length and appears to grow by the
JD> day.
JD> Does anyone have any idea of how large these fish can get? It's
JD> pretty interesting as I've never seen a fish grow quite so rapidly!
I had a pair in a 60 gal once.
I measured em after each died, they were 8 and 9 inchs long ;-)
Tin foils will grow big, given room and plenty of food,
they also do well with some vegetarian stuff.
