   I like your analogy. 

  Bloody C ate some of my hard disc last night, and this morning
TinyPoint fainted when it got the mail. I couldn't find what went
wrong, but it came good when I reinstalled... bloody C!

  I've been using Windows happily for three years but my method is
vicious: as soon as an application stuffs up, I throw it away. I've
never had anything as crazy as C before, that not only locks up
Windows, but it overwrites the hard disc at random like Russian
roulette. I've got it on a floppy now (after the horse has bolted).
