Although this won't show you all the DOS settings for
an object, it will show the one's that are different from
the defaults.

Make a copy of the object in question.

Open the object's settings, and look at the "Path and file name" field.

If there is a program name there, put an "*" as the
first character so that it looks something like this:

    *C:\Os2\Mdos\Dosprog.Exe

If there is just an "*" there, add a bogus filename
such as C:\Dummy.Bat AFTER the "*" so that it looks
something like this:

    *C:\Dummy.Bat

Close the settings notebook, then double-click the object, and instead of
your DOS app. you should get an Os/2 command line session.
If you type the word SET at the prompt, Os/2 should give
you a list of all the DOS settings which are different from
the default DOS settings.

You can redirect this list to a file by typing SET
>C:\Settings.Dos or to the printer by typing SET >prn:

After you're done with the settings you can delete the
COPY of the object you made.

TTYL!
