Folks:

Perhaps its just me, but it seems that my access to Hobbes site is a bit
problematic for my system.

All other sites do seem to work just fine.  But Hobbes acts consistently
and differently than others. For instance, mozilla downloads are much
better performing.

1. For as long as I can remember, Hobbes access is ok for downloading
small files. I get an initial burst of performance up front.  But after a
few seconds, the transmission drops to the speed of a dialup connection. 
And for large downloads, it can stop altogether.  It can take several
tries, and lots of time to download files using my OS/2 box.

2. When using a winders box, the performance is a factor of 10 to 50 times
better and more reliable.  (suggesting a TCPIP setup issue.)

3. My OS/2 box is Warp4 FP12, TCPIP 4.3, using NS4.61, or Mozilla 1.0 or
1.01 or 1.2.  (all versions give me the same performance characteristics.)

Perhaps my networking needs tweaking?  If so, then perhaps suggestions? 
Your feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
