I doubt it is your firewall since they are able to get a prompt. I
just created a new user on your BBS and wrote a couple messages so
it's looking good. I had to log in the first time as user "bbs", is
that the way you want it? Seems to have worked in any case.

On my BBS i have inetd run mblogin instead of the standard login
program. It's just a little more user friendly.
