In a piece on one of the news channels about the current crop (I forgot the
name just now, the ones they retrofitted with arms) in use in Iraq &
Afghanistan, they didn't say exactly where the controller was, but I got
the distinct impression he was in the US somewhere and no mention of any
lag problems.
