1237a5bb95f2 tech Hello Phil - That website I mentioned that attempts to promote accessible website designs for the sight impaired WWW users is: http://bobby.watchfire.com/bobby/html/en/index.jsp They have 'upgraded' the website considerably since I was there the last time with an online validating program for single webpages. My site map page failed miserably. The problem seems to be that 'Bobby' people are managers and not actively involved in webpage design. The use of some common practices in HTML code is considered problematic by Bobby's validator. Even to the point of not wanting me to use specific sizes for tables (boxes containing text) and other standard practices that really are none of their concern nor would it interfere in any way with the use by sight impaired users. WC3, another group, tries to control _all_ webpage designs for impaired _and_ unimpaired users and can be a bit foolish in their requirements as well. At least they try? I cannot accomodate their demands and cannot validate to their 'standards' but I am aware they exist and do read the recommendations and attempt to accomodate them if/when I decide it is doable. Best I can do for now. :-\ > > , , > o/ Charles_Angelich - DOS Ghost \o , > __o/ > / > www.undercoverdesign.com/dosghost/faf/ < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
