That's the great thing about it that you CAN do all this stuff
after you're already setup, there's even a fips -t run
option that shows you where you can chose to split
the partition which makes a backup of your MBR while
altering nothing. Drop the switch and it's going to
write the new partition to the MBR.
All this info applies to FIPS 16 bit with standard MBR and
I've no clue about FIPS V 2.0 32 bit FAT and how it does or
does not handle Win 9x.
I will tell you I've loaded Linux on this, Win 3.1 - DOS, machine
and run "restorrb" and bingo the drive is pure DOS
and just as you left it but with all the space Linux was using freed up.

Got it installed. Got a good download and upload last night
when I'd had a few beers but today it fouled up,
might have to read the docs

Yeah well Photoshop sure, next door neighbors sister
was supposed to bring a shrink wrapped copy over for
his yard sale but it never materialized.
Could have snagged it on the cheap.

Don't recall but that site is due for a visit.
Hope the format for bookmarks is the same in NS 16 bit 4.08
and NS 7.0 is the same so I can floppy it over
to ther new machine, after having backed up the existing
one of course in case it chokes.

CA> I have no experience with TV vid cards at all.

Me either but I sure won't be buying an HDTV set, a bigger monitor
definately. If I have to make a removable black mask
for the monitor in TV mode so as not to distract no big deal.

CA> Hmmmm ... seems to me full USB support was added with 'SE'? You

See nothing on the manual or screen about SE however
the USB ports show as setup, perhaps it's because
this is a H.P. OEM installation?

No really, I tried to tip it and it's extremely resistant, in fact
I could not do it. Everything but the keyboard and the speakers
are on top.
