RF> I would like to know what K12Net actually is? I've been reading th

DH> Hi Regina,
DH>
DH> No problem, here's a short clip from a file I include in my K12Net
DH> information package to help explain it to my users:
DH>
DH>
DH> The SPECTRUM BBS is proud to bring the K12Net message conferences
DH> to North Dakota. The K12Net is an international network dedicated
DH> to education. Participants from around the globe can discuss and
DH> share ideas related to a host of curriculum areas as well as chat
DH> with students their own age.
DH>
DH> Student participants can use the K12Net areas to increase their
DH> knowledge and awareness of other countries and cultures, to pose
DH> questions about subjects they may be having difficulty with or are
DH> accomplished in. The curriculum areas provide the opportunity for
DH> collaborative work that spans the states and continents. We
DH> currently have active participants in the United States, Canada,
DH> New Zealand and Australia.
DH>
DH> There are over 30 different message conferneces (including the
DH> "project channels") that focus on different curriculum areas. There
DH> are 4 chat areas: elementary school, middle school, senior high, and
DH> teacher.
DH>
DH> It's a fun network to be a part of. :)

Sounds interesting. I'll have to look into it. Right now things have
been a little too busy for much else, but getting the house together
(we just bought a fixer-upper, school, and my husbands campaigning for
Treasurer in 2410. So things are a little too busy to add anything
else to my agenda. But I will definetly keep this in mind. Thanks.
Regina
... All I need is a Wave and a board to surf it on.
