0.0 is the absolute minimum. :-) Go for 5.0 if you want, that's a lot
safer, especially if you are starting with magnum primers. That's within
.2gr of the start charge for a 155gr bullet with N320 and a magnum
primer, according to VV.
Glocks are pretty tight, but the HK had the tightest bore out of my three
guns by far. I don't know what the glock would be like but I can't see
it being that much more restrictive than the HK.
BS>to as "Lefty" after trying this, as the Glock has less than total support

Or "stump neck". :_)
Be careful then. I really have no idea just _how_ much pressure is being
built up in the chamber. It's not overpressuring, that I know, but I've
no idea how these bullets will travel down a glock barrel. Leather
gloves, eye protection, even a face shield for the first 25 or so rounds
would not be a bad idea.
BS> JS> This stuff would literally blow up on the surface. It's ideal for

BS>If you ever do the pager execution, please videotape it--it would provide

Good idea! I'm sure I could sell videos of blowing things up. I've
watched many less interesting videos. Now if I could just do high speed
macro videography... another $5000 down the drain.

Did you taper crimp them well? Remember: in a glock or most other auto
pistols using a higher energy load, pinpoint accuracy is not the most
important feature, so if in doubt, go ahead and taper crimp that thing
good.

Were those Midway's 180gr SWC's? They have a giant nose. National
Bullet's SWC's are much more like a cone profile.
BS> JS> I've heard of people seating them much shallower when shooting them

BS>Naw, I like the shape of my Glock--don't want to do any unintentional

I'm going to do a set of loads with increasing OAL's and see when the USP
starts to complain. These will be quite mild loads (less than 300
ft/lbs).
I'm so ticked though, Bar-Sto is going to be producing .357sig barrels
for the USP, so unless HK gets a move on and gets me my 9mm barrel, I'm
not goign to be able to get it out to JD Jones in time for him to ream it
to .357sig, and thus have an 'all factory' HK USP in .357sig.
Oh well, maybe I'll get two barrels for the Astra and make one a .357sig.
