1237a59ee6c5 tech Hello Jean - RJT>> Was told that the problem with this one is a plastic gear RJT>> that's damaged, I haven't felt the need to go in there RJT>> and investigate it yet... JP>> This happened to my Canon 4100, it quit on me. JP> I would not know what to fix if the gear had been at fault. JP> These little teeth are something else to replace, finding JP> the proper material and getting it to fuse with the rest of JP> the gear is tough. But the axle was easy. Still running as JP> my BW printer when the Lexmark Z32 stands by for colour JP> duty. fwiw: Cutting gear teeth is a 'specialty' in the machining trades that few others ever even attempt it. Many compound angles etc. to deal with that have very 'close' tolerances to maintain. It can be so very complex when using helical gear teeth that I would personally be on the verge of finding a different employer rather than deal with that on an every day basis. > > , , > o/ Charles_Angelich - DOS Ghost \o , > __o/ > / > www.undercoverdesign.com/dosghost/faf/ < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
