Just have a look at your config.sys, if there is an entry

DEVICE=\OS2\SDDHELP.SYS /Q

you have SDD or SNAP already installed.

IIRC the Matrox propriatary drivers don't incorporate the double head 
feature. But, by Jove, I haven't had any look at then since 1999, so 
don't shoot me if I am wrong.

Anyway, if you have acces to the IBM SNAP SE the matrox antiques are of 
no interest.

btw: what video card are you using now?
