We don't really think of Canada as an adjunct to the USA.  There are just
too many differences.  You have donairs instead of gyros.  You have Tim
Horton's instead of Dunkin Donuts.  You have toques instead of toboggan
caps. You had Mr. Dress Up instead of Captain Kangaroo. Might as well be a
different universe.
