Been all-scsi here for a decade. Yes, there is a history of board and
bios-specific sensitivity to slot. Less of it, maybe,since video move to
its dedicated AGP slot. An issue that arises is how to refer to you scsi
hdd when the bios asks for booting priority of devices. Then, you may have
the matter in the scsi bios of putting disks with bootable partitions in
the right order.
