 $190 =is= a bundle, one I wouldn't want to contemplate.

 Couldn't agree with you more there. Nice crisp copy.
 
 As for the price per copy, that's about what I
 figured.  And if I can finesse the refills, that
 ppp might go down a bit.

 Since the noise never bothered me, I didn't
 even think to ask. But they've been living with it
 all this time. I remember the elaborate
 sound-proofing covers that were in vogue way back
 to muffle the dot-matrix machines's noise -- but
 never even considered buying one. Looking back, I
 think it was a sell-job, because they sure were
 not as irritating as the typewriters they replaced.
 And nowadays, when I see a dox-matrix machine,
 there's no sound-proofing cover in evidence.
 
 Thanks for your input. Well, I suppose I better
 bite the bullet and start in on them, or at least
 on setting one of them up. And see where we go
 from there.
