However, per how GR set up the new warp scale at the inception of
TNG, W10 itself *is* in fact impossible, not just "beyond it."
However, not to argue the point of "infinity +1," but still address
the core issue.... }:)
One thing that many people seem to neglect/ignore/forget, but that
MUST borne in mind by all concerned is the fact that even the shows
themselves are not necessarily always correct -- if something is
said in one show that is at odds with *all* previously established
fact on a subject, & then is never repeated, rule of thumb is that
the exception is thrown out as incorrect. Since in the case of
Paris' supposedly going W10 there is _not_ at this point any other
evidence that supports it, it's still at the point where it should
be considered that exception. Unless/until more instances come up
where the issue is addressed & it supports Paris, the basic ground
rules (i.e., W10 = impossible) as set by TGBOTG still stand as the
authority. :)
