 For pro use, I agree. But for casual use, it's hard to beat a VTR.
 A VTR (and tapes) are very inexpensive compared to DAT. After all, you'll
 likely have one lying about, anyway.  And, they're far from clumsy, when
 compared to reel-to-reel, IMHO.
