500 lbs per cow, so would you be willing to pay an extra $0.10 per pound
for meat? Assuming $2-$4 per pound average at the store and assuming this
cost could be passed on with nobody putting a markup on it, that comes out
to a 2.5-5% increase to insure your family isn't eating infected meat.
Maybe nobody would be willing to pay that prior to this incident but how
about now or after a few people die from it?
