subject: [OS2HW] Re: Adaptec PCMCIA scsi 1460

Wonder if anyone would be able to sort this out:

Laptop: Thinkpad T41 (bought 1.5 years ago, thus an IBM one)

The regular drivers for PCMCIA have been installed properly, sure about
that coz:

- cisco 350 network PCMMCIW works well

- Bustoaster scsi PCMCIA works well and oerfect with attached Jazz
devices as well as with scanners etc... etc...

The bustoaster does the job with these drivers:

Basedev=btscsi.add
Basedev=btos2.add

The bustoaster gets irq 7 assigned to.

Now, when replacing the bustoaster with the adaptec, after adding and
remming out drivers,

BASEDEV=AHA152x.add
rem Basedev=btscsi.add
rem Basedev=btos2.add
BaseDev=OS2SCSI.DMD

after the mandatory shutdown and reboot, the adaptec gets Ready-OK from
the PC card director, has been irq assigned too, so should works, but
alas doesn't.

Impos/2 scsi utility qscsi can't see the adaptec either.

So, has anyone an apa-1460 (a-b-c or d) working in OS2?
