Whoa boy. You need to break the gun in and learn B4 you find yourself
stroked by someone. I feel that gas rams are a bad joke. So are the
laserizations. If you got a fistfull of dollars and a Beeman catalog
don't be to hasty. I'd find out via the internet who's tunes are the
best. If I told you that "the LAZAGLIDE VENOMAC KIT is the best" you'de
expect that cause I sell them. If several people that have them teel you
that you'de have a bit more confident that it was true. You have the
option from my shop to get a Venomac Power Kit($125) or a Venomac Mag 80
Lazaglide($195). Don't confuse Lazaglide with Laserization. The Beeman
Laserization is nowhere near the kit a 15 year old Venomac Power kit is.
Not to mention the Lazaglide which is the best conventional spring tune
available. I don't sell gas rams at all. The Theoben installer is Dave
Slade. The other kit has been the Problematic Vortek.
The installing of a gas ram does not convert a R-1 to a RX-1. The R-1 w/
gas ram is superior to the RX-1 in my opinion but the RX-1 is such a
clunky thing I have never liked it. It seems poorly thought out. Now
that is rather an odd thing for A HW but there you have it.

Magnumitis has set in doctor. He shows all the typical symptoms. Just
shoot the thing and keep it wiped down. When you get to around 2500
hundred rounds you might want to start to call your self a heavy user.
If you do that in a month you are a candidate for the kits solely
because they will be cost effective in the long haul. The factory builds
the gun for a light user. The 95% that love to shoot but love to do
other things more. If you Love a gun that is a tack driver regardless of
how much you shoot you are also a candidate for the kits. The
discriminating customers always appreciate the good stuff. The
performance improvement is just icing on the cake and isn't the real
reason that most use the Venomac Line. It is having a tried system that
works. Don't worry about power. Your gun has gobs of that. Worry about
accuracy. Not 19 ft. lbs. If you are shooting 5mm you won't get the best
accuracy from a 20+ ft. lb beast. The accuracy that you want won't be
found in the stratosphere of performance. If you can't hit it it doesn't
matter how hard your hitting. Your not hitting.
