Yes, and as for the prebiotic soup there is still a lot to
be said for panspermia thys., and more specifically, the
possibility of the original generation of life in space
itself. The very fact that cometary bodies appear to have
most all of the precursor
chemicals of life aboard, makes me very suspicious that at
least a few events in space occurred where these chemicals
went "all the way." Oh well, someday we'll get humans out
there to do a lot more research on such questions.
