TS> large crop of tomatoes, they just didn't rippen on the vine...fell off
TS> before fully ripe. Isn't that strange?
MB> Have you been gardening long?
Yes, mostly tomatoes and cucumbers for the last 10 years.
It's nice when you have some
MB> fellow gardeners to talk to, esp if you have a bad year and find
MB> out everyone else did too. Then you know it's not you!
Yes, that is so right!
MB> Hmmm, that is strange, wonder why they fell off the vine before
MB> they were ripe? Did they ripen good after they fell off?
Yes, they sat on my counter (taking up space) and ripened just fine.
Didn't especially care for them this year....kind of mealy.
MB> guess that's the most important part. Did the weather change
MB> suddenly or something?
No, and they kept getting water all the time. So not sure what happened.
But, will chalk it up and remember it.
Nice talking gardening with ya...
