Oh, bug off with this drug crap! CA> My 'technical merit' is not for you to judge. Are you a PhD on CA> something or other flexing your grey-matter here with us lowly CA> technicians? Exactly! Making this personal is not very productive. My intention wasn't to put down anyone but rather to point out the negativism. I admit it could have been less confrontational though... CA> So, what you are saying is that you have the 'inside track' on CA> all of this and are annoyed by anyone invading your space? See here, I'm not the one making it a personal afront... Quite obviously you have absolutely no notion of what happens to whistle blowers, do you? You have no inkling about the internal politics at play in government agencies, do you? I've worked in the government at various offices, seen first hand what goes on, and developed an appreciation for the intricacies of department politics. CA> You're a wacko buddy! He who argues with a fool ends up looking foolish himself. Shouting and name calling to prove a point only makes one seem more of an imbecile. Two can tango... let's drop the name calling, now. CA> Keep in mind the door swings both ways "baybee". What if it's a revolving door? Hehehe! Look here, Charles, I dispute your contention that because the shuttle is old makes it unsafe. There are even older airplanes capable of flying quite safely. The real problem with the shuttle is that it required a massive support organisation that was in place during the Apollo era but has now mostly vanished due to budget cuts. The people who actually drew the blueprints are now retired or even passed away. The shuttle wasn't supposed to have 2 SRB's and an external tank. This was a micky mousing with the original plan and this has now in fact cost 14 lives. That's the real root of the problem! Mike **** ...
