Keith, at 19:02 on Thu, Jul 28 1994, you wrote to Bill Grimsley ... My guess is that the original was possibly recorded on a machine with a dirty CTL head, and when played on another VCR, the CTL pulses are too low for it to lock the servo. Why it should only happen with your VS-15 is beyond me though. KR> i've been copying some of the hi-8 stuff onto it, god it looks rough KR> compared to the original, i'm glad i didn't buy a vhs-c. Do you recall our original conversation just before you bought the Hi-8, when I suggested that despite its lower market penetration compared with VHS-C, that Hi-8 was still a superior system? Well now you know it's true. ;-) Regards, Bill --- Msgedsq/2 2.2e* Origin: Don't ask me, I'm lost too. (3:711/934.18) SEEN-BY: 640/305 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
