I believe you have the time frame right for the phones, and are definitely
right for the scanner/cell frequency deal, although they are different
actions altogether.
As an aside to all: when you check the ECPA to see who's right, make sure
you are reading a *recent* version of the act. If it's over a year old and
doesn't mention cordless phones, get a newer copy.
I won't transcribe the ECPA into FIDO, but I'll check to find a site on the
Internet that has it, and report back if I find one.
