well, it's really a sloppy afair.

i use settime to put the date into the environment.

http://eob=bbs.com/settime.zip

then the batchfile would go like this with pkzip console (subsitute your 
archiver)



{at}echo off

call settime.bat
pkzipc -add -dir=full %date%_backup.zip 3rdparty.dat lord.dat

---end--


then you can add whatever files you want.
i just put that in the maint.bat file, so it runs each day
