Here is what is *really* known about the next movie:
It will be written by Michael Piller.
Patrick Stewart will have co-producer credit.
Frakes has a "first look" deal with Paramount, meaning he has the inside
track to direct.
The story is going to take Picard on a "hero's journey," somewhat along
the lines of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness (although that doesn't
mean a particularly similar plot).  It will also stress Picard's close
emotional attachment with his crew, that Piller feels was not seen in
the last couple of movies.
