Generally when a cancer is encysted and contained, it can be removed
without having it spread just due to the surgery.... especially if the
cyst isn't broken into...

In some ways, anyway...

Didn't have to be that way... but it is convenient for them to not move
too far away.... :)

She didn't get a chance to reject them... none of them survived
birthing, their necks were broken as she tried to push them out.... she
wasn't a very big cat, and less than a year old herself... she
apparently had some larger cat in her genes, and apparently also was
knocked up by a larger male... she was huge when pregnant, and it turned
out there were only 3 very large kittens in there... all bundled in
their sacs, they were about 4 inches long... not surprising they didn't
make it... More surprising that she did, after bursting her uterus and
going septic.... But she also didn't get a chance to try again, since
effectively she'd been spayed by the emergency surgery....

I remember Leo from the second Slaterville Springs picnic.... :)  Maybe
he decided he missed Windsor...

I'd be inclined to omit the tomato sauce.... halved cherry tomatoes
