One day, the gunsmith of MFG pulls me aside, and points to a group of 
young men at the pistol counter, asks me if I was carrying, etc.  Seems 
these boys generated some wariness.  Anyway, during the course of this I 
noticed for the first time in two years the necklace he wore under his 
shop apron: a cord with a hook that a 14" pistol gripped 12ga was
attached to.  Seems he was a cop part time as well as a smith.  I never 
noticed it before, yet he swears he always wears it at the gun shop.
