DR> Thanks again for all of your help with the software. It was such a
DR> surprise! I spent the afternoon installing it and then finding some
DR> other software that needed reinstalling on the hard drive. (The kids
DR> used to have their own computer, til the 286 motherboard gave up its
DR> life. We never replaced it, because so much software wouldn't run with
DR> it or the EGA monitor.) My kids are now in 7th Heaven - so much new
DR> stuff to play with! My husband says we may have created a monster, tho
DR> - now we both have to compete for the computer! :)
DR> I'm checking your list to see what I might have that would interest
DR> you. Are you looking for anything in particular?
My husband thought it would be nice to send it to ya. I was just going to
find out if it was ok first, but my husband is implusive. My kids are
on the internet now and have a few areas they are allowed to go to.
Yesterday my husband assigned homework. Look for certain historical
people on the internet and than save it to a file for future assignment.
They were given a certain amount of time to do it.
I'm not really looking for anything in particular. I grab whatever is
interesting and what I don't have and figure if I don't use it some
of my users on the board will. Actually its not really my BBS, although
I was the one who started it. I turned it over to my husband when he
learned how to run it. Then he became a fido member. I go to some of
the meetings because they all know I still semi run it. Although my
husband doesn't really realize it. Well, maybe he does. He still gives
me credit for it all. Anyway, anything I don't have you can either send
or I can freq it if its freqable.
I'm glad to hear the kids are getting a kick out of all their programs.
Sometimes when you put something away for a while (even if it isn't on
purpose) getting it back again is just like it was new.
