My fax modem died.  It's been over 8 yrs since I last shopped for a
fax modem so I'm sure the market is a bit different than it was
last time I looked at it.

I'm looking for suggestions for an external fax modem so I don't
accidently find myself in possession of a winmodem.  I only need to
send an occasional fax, I use PMFax (aka faxworks) to do that.
