WordPerfect for -> DOS is still THE popular wordprocessor at the -> volunteer group. And the Wordperfect Web site still has Printer drivers avaialble. As I recall for the HP up to the LJ5. And as far as using the PRN command form a command prompe al lthe HP printers up to the Laser Jet 1200 will print the standard Keyboatd character set. Just last Twisdat I sent a Print screen to a HP Laser Jet 1200 undser DOS 6.22 Also rembember that HP lasers have very good backward compatability and as I believe I mentioned before any HP driver back to the LJ III should work for most programs. The LJ II drivers are a problem because of the limited internal fonts in that printer and one needs to use Soft Fonts if one wants much more then 10 CPI printing. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 1 379/1 633/267 |
