 ALLFIX International FILEFIND Echo

This is the International ALLFIX FileFind Echo.  This echo is here for the
express purpose of allowing users with access to ALLFIX or some other
compatible FILEFIND program to send a request over FidoNet to find certain
files that they are looking for. FILEFIND requests can be echomail in
format.  If some general netmail replies are generated they should be sent
via routed NETMAIL.  However since some of these type of replies can be
very large, that should generally be frowned upon.  This echo is here for
the specific use of FILEFIND requests.  It is NOT for file announcements or
anything else of that nature.

 INTERNATIONAL ALLFIX FILEFIND ECHO RULES
 ****************************************

Originally developed by Jeff Schrunk.  Last Revision: 2003-09-04

1.  No flames or personal attacks or insults. If anyone has a problem
    with another in this echo send netmail to the Moderator and he will
    deal with it out of the echo.

2.  NO illegal activity or item may be advertised.  Any person breaking
    this rule will be immediately removed from the echo.  No warnings,
    no exceptions.

3.  Taglines that are inflammatory or otherwise judged inappropriate in
    the echo by the other sysops of the net shall be prohibited. If in
    doubt as to whether yours might be in violation ask yourself "would
    this be likely to bother others".

4.  Quoting is not allowed generally unless there is a problem with a
    FileFind message that a user or sysop has sent.  If quoting is done
    it must be limited to the part of a message that one is replying to
    and may not exceed 25% of the original message.

5.  Testing (test messages) of individual systems in this echo are NOT
    ALLOWED!!!  PERIOD!!!!

6.  No BBS Ads

7.  Be friendly.

8.  NO NEW FILES ANNOUNCEMENTS.  This is a FileFind area not a New File
    Announcement Area.

9.  Arguing with the moderator in the echo is defined as "excessively
    annoying" and may result in the immediate cutting of feeds.


 Strong suggestions:    (Not mandatory, unless they are abused)
 -------------------

1.  Don't take offense at some things that are said. If it offends you
    then just ignore it.

2.  Flaming someone because you feel that their point is wrong with what
    you think could cost you access to FILEFIND.

3.  Hold down the Ascii Art.  Some systems choke on the wrong
    characters.


I'll add or subtract from this list as necessary from time to time. All of
your input is appreciated.

** Persons breaking the rules will be first publicly warned in this
echo.  A subsequent violation by the same person will result in a personal
netmail warning being sent out.  A third infraction of the rules will
result in that person being removed from the echo.  Any such requests will
be sent in netmail.

As usual, all comments can be sent to me at 1:342/5 or
powerstation{at}shaw.ca.  All abuse of this structure shall be considered
"excessively annoying".
