On (19 Sep 94) Paul Edwards wrote to Keith Richardson... PE> zcalc.c, zcalc.c, zcalc.c in public_domain. all fat bastards, all made by you. No other msg has blown this program. Why not just post a notice saying "I wrote this nifty program called STRIP.C that plucks chickens, just freq STRIP1.ZIP from here"? If p_d goes to other boards, why waste bandwidth? For that matter, why are you wasting my std call time with fat msgs? PE> If you insist on running crappy software that can't handle PE> messages of 35k in size, well what can I say except PE> WHERE'S YER BLOODY CAPS KEY? Stop posting crappy msgs. Ppoint was running 15 minutes after I unpacked its zip file. It only took that long because I knew enough about Bink to want to check how it was setting up its Bink files. I defy you to find any other point package that will do the same. I don't *want* to know about the stupid grotty little nuts and bolts of pointing. Computers should be able to do it for me. I shouldn't have to know the details, just as I don't need to know how zmodem works. PE> What mailprocessor does ppoint use actually, is it squish? If PE> so, get with the times, man! 1.10 has already hit the streets. The mailprocessor is built in. We don't have to stuff around with cryptic squish config files either. Get it yet? This program is *easy*. Cheers --- PPoint 1.86* Origin: Silicon Heaven (3:711/934.16) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
