I find it so quaint when people confuse ignorance for intelligence.

I don't attempt anything. I either succeed or don't try. However, I
never deride other people's attempts nor gloat over their failures.

There are instruments for measuring the success of the shielding
materials. Look up dosimeters some time and bootstrap yourself out of
the medieval belief system of earth, fire, & water.
