I sit corrected.  Part of the problem is that I don't think the guys
checking baggage on the ground as called sky marshals, though I do recall
that now.

I didn't know they ever flew in the planes, but it seems a sensible
precaution to me. (that's one of the post-9/11 things I haven't worried
about.)

Israel is who I thought started it and I bet the most active at it, even now...
